mega man comes back and realizes he forgot to finish what was started and so he continues the other, more recent fight of protoman (the one against him, mega man), so now that he's fighting himself he's actually just grappling with being really conflicted rn the whole album while the City is literally burning around him. in the end he finally beats himself but then he gets incredibly confused as to whether that means he did it or not and spends the final song just confusing himself further while the yellow devil finally gets implemented into the protoverse exclusively to kick his sorry ass or something
