as far as i understand it, this is just before the big two-parter final push, so here's an update on my current thoughts!
i remain as spot-on as i was in my other big post about PoN - it really is a proper Battle Network stripped to the leanest it's ever been, and compressed enough to fit the new, even more portable format of a mobile device not solely dedicated to the task of Gaming - Chip Order and the Chip Traders are both here to lend further aid to your folder-building pursuits! they're really trying to give each dungeon its own unique advancement-gating gimmick that crops up two or three times on the bones of "the only special tiles we can implement are warp spots and conveyors, and the most choices we can fit in a text box for an NPC is two", and it's honestly super charming in a quaint kinda way! there's a couple of new, enjoyable-to-fight navis standing out amidst your typical Recurring Rival Boys and the cache-data'd Fire/Ice/Guts/ShadowMan-s! even though the internet sections all only have two varieties of normal tile per section and a background color and that's all, they really do their best to convey what an area is or is like through the shape of its layout and how they use the two tiles they get per area - especially in all the miscellaneous generic "Comps", which are yet to really disappoint in distinctness from each other!
the goofy ass OCR program mistakes keep happening, too, and amuse me to no end. Rockman may be Mouth cuckoo man, he may be just Mouthman, he may be "you pout", he may be "idiot", he may even be "Mouth fucking man". gift that keeps on giving i'm honestly glad i'm putting myself through this instead of just waiting for an actual translation patch or something.
i really do recommend going to literally this link right here containing the Rockman keitai games and checking out Phantom of Network if you're really hankering for a little more of the gang and their adventures, or even just more BN gameplay. just... if you don't fully understand japanese (the same way i don't), if you DO decide to follow me into Machine Translation Hell maybe find something slightly more reliable at reading small pixelated characters than Capture2Text, okay? or don't, actually. just use Capture2Text just like i am and enjoy the dynamic duo of C2T and Google Translate occasionally spitting out just absolute patent nonsense until you wiggle it enough.
