this game continues to consume my entire brainhole.
void stranger may be layered and layered with secrets. but also like, just as a tile puzzle game it is insanely good how thorough it is as an exploration of its own stuff. every mechanic is properly introduced and you get a good idea of how they all interact before you're put into an absolutely vast amount of even harder puzzles that demonstrate that not only do the devs completely understand how every piece works, but also how to make em all fucking sing in tandem with each other to create really cool and difficult tricks and interactions, and then they have the guts to KEEP INTRODUCING NEW MECHANICS ANYWAYS. and then at the tail end when the player is armed with all the power and knowledge they finally reveal that, yes, they understand exactly how a puzzle can be broken by all of that, and they've simply been holding off on showing you the real shit, the actual ways they can stop you from snappjng the game in half over your knee with even your endgame tricks. it's just so incredible how well thought out the games puzzles are
