what's up, gull and such here, recent "wait there's more than one of us" realizers. whoops!

still giant robot fans, still pmd: explorers enthusiasts. imagine we are wearing a big button that says "ask us about Void Stranger". you should play all the games we like right now. the media backlog continues to grow ever further, and finally fucking continuing Initial D slips further and further out of reach.....

we are so back

This is a community-made, full-size level pack for Chip's Challenge; these come out every few years or so, and I look forward to each one more than I do for most other videogame releases. I'm still really early in this one, but I'm pleased that the early levels are a little bit chewier than usual for these. Chip's Challenge has always been a game whose systems were far more interesting and good than the original levels were, so I'm incredibly appreciative that there's still a prolific and active community of people making new content at a high standard and bringing out the full potential of a very deep and interesting game.

The level pack is available here and the levels are designed to be similarly playable in both the infamous Windows version and in clients that implement the rules of the original Lynx version more faithfully. The client I'm using (which emulates both) is available here

it's been worth the wait! I'm about halfway through now and it's been delightful so far. Every single level has had some interesting interaction to build its puzzle around. it's so impressive to me how much variety people are still able to create from this simple set of elegant rules, even after the release of the more feature-filled sequel
