do severals, be severals. how it is

what's up, gull and such here, recent "wait there's more than one of us" realizers. whoops!

still giant robot fans, still pmd: explorers enthusiasts. imagine we are wearing a big button that says "ask us about Void Stranger". you should play all the games we like right now. the media backlog continues to grow ever further, and finally fucking continuing Initial D slips further and further out of reach.....

most of these i discovered on artist alley for the first time, and a few friends and already-known bangers that i happened to see on there mixed in!

  • @8bitbirdsong -- awesome stickers!! (and enamel pins and other cool physical stuff with corvids and bunnies and other cool original designs! anyway check it out)
  • @belarius -- intense but extremely worthwhile article (journal? research project? well, HE called it an article so, yeah) about gamification here. this is such a cool thing to find on a virtual bulletin board like the artist alley, hell yeah
  • @hvb -- their new album "elemental fusion" is an incredible collaborative release with a veritable who's who of instrumentalists from "our" scene, just a joy to listen to. highly recommended
  • @nothingdoingcomic (by @horseonvhs) -- i was already reading this but it's very good
  • @MukkyWaffle -- y2k vibes immaculate, definitely want to commission her someday...
  • @Jackdaw (aka People Need Goals) -- my partner in writing for do you validate podcasts, their work is extremely atmospheric and cool. check out their latest, apppointments, it's a good introduction to their style!
  • @dog -- CD-ROM Journal scratches that same itch as Ross's Game Dungeon in that, finding out about these obscure buried treasures from our past is fascinating in itself, further carried by excellent writing. throw it in your RSS reader, you won't regret it! (side note, also watch Ross's Game Dungeon)

EDIT: i made a seperate post for this one but i think adding to the original (which is doing severals) is nicer for this super cool listing, so here it is:

#i think a "reblog" option on posts from artist alley would be nice...

ehh, i can see a good reason not to though.
if someone is avoiding artist alley because "those are ads", then someone rechosting an "ad" into your feed is still Being Made To See an Ad. someone linking to an artist alley ad - like this - is a bit different, though
