don't get me wrong - a couple decently low lows this time, sure - but overall this run was actually pretty good. the HD Remaster finally had a decent stretch of episodes where it DIDN'T make horendously awful and noticeable quality jumps! there's actually some really interesting Gundam Typical Political Intrigue And Thinking About War going down at ZAFT and Orb! we spend time with some of the characters i actually care about (Athrun, Nichols..................., Rau, Cagalli) and they have to consider things and talk about their feelings! Kira finally fucking broke up with Flay and got a fucking BOYFRIEND AMV with Athrun!!
honestly i feel like Athrun is the real main character, to me, and the show is just a billion times better when he's the focus actually. love that guy he's so normal. honestly kind of glad the show has the potential to be Actually A Pretty Good Show and this time went without too much mocking content (aside from the occasional large hunk of HD Remaster Being Bad At Its Job), since i have it on good word (friend im watching alongside) things WILL get more unhinged from here on
(... the Natural/Coordinator shit is still stupid as hell though.)
