i beat Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner tonight! great game, really enjoyed it, massive improvement over the first one. this game just really feels like a Giant Robot anime yknow? you can take a few hits, but you can dish them out like nobody's business.
unlike the first game, The 2nd Runner actively encourages you to use your kit - all of it. the subweapons are all much better balanced with each other, grabbing is both more useful and better fleshed out, guarding is sometimes really the one thing you can do, good stuff.
didnt like the minefield stage though that ones too slow
