post seven's shaping up to be a longer and very different one (and way more prose-y than the prior posts. doing these ones a little differently.), so i thought id provide you all a preview of my work in progress. the first selection beneath the cut!

another sample, this time of the part i just wrote right now. i am reacclimating - getting myself back in that groove. it runs a little long in comparison to the others i've written for post 7 but i think that's fine! hope you all enjoy

It is not a strech to say that everyone knows the Anomaly Squadron Strikerangers. Ever since they first stepped up to stop the Goralien threat, they and their enormous combining robot the Great Emperor Starstrike have been widely beloved as heroes across the globe. However, some members pull their weight more than others. In this list, you will find the ten Strikerangers ranked.

10. StrikeAqua

StrikeAqua has been a part of the Strikerangers since the beginning. While many will fervently defend him as a member that is pulling his weight, his lack of willingness to co-operate with others is a major blow. StrikeAqua's weapon is the least effective for dealing with Goralien intruders, and StrikerLynx only truly has the abilities of a right leg - though the Pressure Kicker sounds cool, it is the least impressive of the Great Emperor's moveset. Unfortunately, all of this builds up to make StrikeAqua the worst member of the Strikeranger squadron.

9. StrikeBurgundy

StrikeBurgundy, unlike the other members of the Strikerangers, is not human, but a former Goralien soldier who fell in love with the Earth and gave up the power of Gor Energy to accept the mysterious power of the Strikeranger. Though their backstory is touching, unfortunately they have proven less than capable in combat, often needing to be saved by the far more dashing StrikeSilver. In addition, their Strikerbeast StrikerBat serves only to supply a second set of wings to supplement StrikerFalcon's. They simply don't provide much to the team as it is.
