On par with the original, but with completely different strengths & weaknesses. Actual colours and aesthetic is gorgeous and while the original's soft look was very nice I appreciate this cover's sharp, crisp lighting. It's better at establishing tone and intrigue, but lacks much personality. I also miss the whole "broken collar" scene present on a lot of other covers, including the original (sometimes). Overall one of the better Richardson covers.

The one that started it all ! I chose a French cover with the art because it has the least amount of clutter, allows you to really take it in. also "Clan Wars" is a funny translation

It's a classic to be sure, excellent use of colours to establish that naturalistic vibe. Not terribly relavent to the book, though, and nothing much stands out design or composition wise.
