I love Yosemite. It’s an astonishingly beautiful place with the massive granite cliffs towering above you on all sides. It’s a place that commands for you to look up, to pay attention. And it’s a place I have only ever visted in the summer. This past weekend, I visited following a snow storm and got to see a whole face of the valley I had never seen. I also got to see snow up close and personal for the first time in seven years. Just a feast for the senses all weekend - from the crunch of snow underfoot, to the fall colors still clinging to the trees even in the snow, to the incredible majesty of glacier carved granite, to the roar of waterfalls freshly renewed. I took so many pictures lmao so expect some upcoming Yosemite photo chosting!
