went on a field walk today, and found.....flowers.
amateur IDs from left to right, top to bottom:
red dead-nettle (Lamium purpureum)
birdeye speedwell (Veronica persica)
field pennycress (Thlaspi arvense)
dandelion (Taraxacum sp.)
while looking up IDs, I learned that there are a fuckton of different dandelions, with way over 2000 microspecies depending on who you ask. also they're not really supposed to bloom in december, but I guess that could be yet another effect of climate change.
