since I moved here, I've found that being outside usually does something for me even on the days where I don't feel like going. today's tasks had me feeling empty, so I walked one of the usual short loops. then I decided to go see the boys as well.
on the way there, I met some new neighbours of the boys, a pair of egyptian geese. I've been seeing them around since the weekend. I wonder if they are going to stay here to have babies because that would be really cute. I made sure to move slowly and not startle them and they were calm. egyptian geese, originally from parts of africa, have been getting more common all over germany for a while now.
I ended up seeing the deer as well and I stayed outside until dark.
