it was sunny today, but quite chilly. I finally had some time to dig more at that veggie bed. it's almost the size I want it to be now. while I was digging, I must have looked like I'm living a lesbian dream....and/or like I am a lesbian dream.......for now that has to be good enough.
afterwards I went to see the boys. I also saw the mallard ducks resting in the swamp. I haven't seen the geese in a while, though. the boys were delightful, they were starting their evening cow games and I watched them for quite a while. I have 3 videos of them below. by the time I had to leave, all five of them were together playfighting.
when I walked home, it was already pretty dark, and I saw some other animal games in the fields. at first I thought they were deer, but I think they were actually bunnies. they seemed large but there were quite many of them so maybe they were rabbits rather than hares. it was hard to see in the dark. I will keep an eye out for them.
