there's a kinda pathetic looking little pond in my garden that I thought was gonna be useful only for the mosquitos (fair enough), but today I noticed some other friends in there. looks like they were busy trying to create more friends.
that pink flower pic is of an ornamental prunus tree (I forgot exactly which kind it is) that we planted for my wedding. the tree has outlived that marriage now. good for it, maybe good for all of us, and it will continue to look very pretty every spring regardless of any human folly surrounding it.
the last pic is of the boys after sunset, today they were at the very back of their pasture.
