Hamelin Prize

This final run of the season's been a rough one! But we've stubbornly muscled our way through with Knife Squad and we're in World 3. Just got a couple things left to do before we head into the void and see about stabbing a tree.

Fiesta run over! Omega was out of our league, but our goofy little Shinryu tactic worked like a charm for a Double Crown! This was definitely one of the rougher Fiesta runs I've had, so I'm very proud to call it a success, and I'm looking forward to taking the knowledge I gained into next season.

For now, though, we've raided over to @authorblues as he does some Retroachievements for Four Swords Adventure with some friends!

Got through the opening bits of Dawntrail last time and so we're set to officially start our little adventure to retrace the steps of Galool Ja Ja. My first playthrough I went with the Palupalu first, so we're hanging with the Hanu this time around!

We made a heck of a lot of progress through the MSQ tonight. Helped out both the Hanu AND the Pelu, garnering us two of the badges keystones we need. It's a solid start for the expansion, I think, though I did mention a couple things during the course of the quests they could've done that might've made it that little bit more enjoyable for me.

Afterward, we raided over to @Smight who is doing a 120 GAME DAMAGE SHUFFLER. Which is absolutely wild and you should absolutely check out.

Thought about it, waffled on it, and then decided we'll keep going and see if we can't 100% all the Secrets in this game. Which means we're gonna be running around with our high jumps and our (literal) blood baths as we scale the tower a second time with the Black Knight.

Actually finished the Black Knight run today - which was definitely faster than I expected. As such, we just have the Monster run left before we've unlocked all the Secrets! And, if today's stream is any indication of it, we might be all done and dusted with Astalon next time!

For now, though, we raided over to Jason as he plays some Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart Racing!

Because of the knives, you see.

For those that missed it, we effectively got an entire team of knife users - THF/DNC/NIN/BLM - for this last run of the season. So expect us to be shanking absolutely everything that can be shanked. And snapping rods on everything else.

Went a bit over again tonight but a good chunk of time was spent banging our heads against the Crystals, and I wanted to make up a bit for that. Due in one part to the randomness of Dance as a main source of damage, another part not really setting up the team the best way available to me at the start, and a third part just... being unpracticed at fighting them in Fiesta without either a trick to remove them or enough raw reliable damage to punch through them. Definite learning experience, though, much like THF-only Liquid Flame.

Afterward, we raided over to Pumpkin as she plays a new cozy game: Fields of Mistria!
