I had a lot of fun with this. The Celeste-inspired movement feels a lot of fun and there's a surprising amount of depth in the combat, with various combos and even a counter-attack! And, since it's an exploratory game, you know I kept going off the rails to explore all the side areas and collect goodies and fish.

Afterward, we raided Voidburger, who Chip Cheezum is currently quizzing on Final Fantasy characters!

Dragon Ball: the Breakers is handing out a bunch of zeni and ticket pulls for the start of the New Year, just like they did for Christmas. I had my power go out last time and the pulls were pretty meh. Let's see if we get something better at the start of this new year, yeah?

@WobblyPython may be onto something regarding doing pulls on stream giving better luck. I finally got a Passive Skill of of Frieza that I've wanted for a while, and get to spend the first few matches getting used that I don't have the skill it replaces anymore. Also got to watch us lose a match because two Survivors fought over who got to summon Shenron.

Afterward, we raided MsShadowLovely, who is playing through the Kingdom Hearts series for the first time! She's on KH2 as we speak!

We finished our NG+ run of Digimon Survive last time, so we're breaking into the New Year with a new longplay. Gonna play us some of that there new Pokeymans. I've seen bits and pieces of it - and know what most of the Pokemon are - but I've otherwise avoided most of what happens in the bulk of it.

Should be a fun time in Paldea.

I wandered around collecting Pokeymans and somehow accidentally sequence broke my way into an area I wasn't supposed to be in yet. And, since I was there, I just started catching a lot of higher-level Pokemon that may or may not listen to me when I actually want to use them. And just generally wandering around where I'm probably not supposed to.

So already looking like an interesting longplay.

It's the last weekend of 2022, and I am full of thoughts. And full of pulls in G-Evo. So hopefully something good will come from one of those. Maybe even both.

Also, I've been playing with the Nu Gundam a lot more and I actually kind of enjoy playing it a lot? I've been doing some Science on it too that I can share today.

I spent the first hour or so rambling about what happened last weekend amidst the robot shootin'. It took that long because I kept getting distracted by the aforementioned shootin'. It took taking a break to do a bunch of pulls (unfortunate) to wrap that up before we delved back into more proper shootin', later improved by some of the folks from the Victory Pit joining in!
