🪦 Hump Day with Ham (Oct 2 @8pm): Graveyard Keeper

Picked this game up a while back for an October-themed longplay but never got around to playing it. So we're gonna fix that and try out this... would you call it a Harvest Moon-like? But with graveyards and zombies and stuff.

🤖 Freeform Friday (Oct 4 @8pm): Gundam Breaker 4

The Beta tournament continues, and we've gotten Hair Trigger a (slightly) new look to bring to it. Will it help things? The backpack maybe but the new head's purely cosmetic. Gotta see how our VRchat mecha is feeling during cutscenes.

👶 Longplay Saturday (Oct 5 @3pm): Metroid: Zero Mission

This was a bit of a surprise pull last week due to expecting to be house-sitting and that not actually happening, but we're continuing on with Samus' first mission. Kraid and Ridley are both down, so... I guess Mother Brain is next?

So, fun fact: I've never actually played - let alone beat - ANY Metroid game. So I figured I'd tackle the first in the series. Or, more precisely, the remake of the first in the series. I expect to fumble many wall-jumps and get very lost.

The controls for Metroid are deceptively more difficult than I expected! Like, I know HOW to do the wall-jump and (kinda) how to Shinespark, but executing those are a whole other matter. That said, we still managed to get through both Kraid and Ridley!

Afterward, we raided over to our stream bud Jason as he plays some Fall Guys!

So much power has opened up to us with the ability to level up the pieces of gear we want to use and choose what skills are on them. I wasted some time during the last stream on it, and a whole lot more offstream. So, Hair Trigger's set to Cause Problems in a big way.

We powered through a lot of the story today! Two... nearly three chapters, I think? And finally made some actual visual updates to the Hair Trigger. One for POWER and one purely for cosmetic reasons... as you do.

Afterward, we raided over to EyesOnBee who is playing one of my favorite RPGs: Breath of Fire 4!
