Went a bit long because I was having a pretty great time and got a good pile of dosh towards our next banner pull to hopefully get that orange pickle. And made friends with a Ginyu in the process.

Afterward, we raided over to @emilyaster as she plays some Starcraft II!

New Year also means a new schedule since I'm basically Lancer gaming every Sunday moving forward. So, rather than trying to finagle a stream that day, we have a whole new streaming day! Hump Day with Ham is basically Social Activity Sunday but on Wednesday evening instead. Which could mean a better opportunity for folks to join in for Deceive and/or Breakers!

So, without further ado, here's the HISS for this week, with all times in US Eastern!

🐉 Hump Day with Ham (Jan 3 @8pm): Dragon Ball the Breakers

Shocking absolutely no one, I'm throwing myself back into Breakers despite my frequent complaints about it. I think I may have a problem, or just be really stubborn. Or both. I also have SSB Gogeta's Super Attack so hopefully I can also BE a problem for the Raiders.

👨‍🔧 Freeform Friday (Jan 5 @8pm): Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

I say what I mean and I mean what I said, and we're gonna keep cracking at this rather engaging Martin XCOM until we finish it... hopefully 100%. It doesn't have the proper Seussian flow but Horton would still be proud, I'm sure. But we're doing this for us, not for him.

💠 Long Play Saturday (Jan 6 @2pm): Crystal Project

Got gifted this game by my sibling over the holidays, so I figure why not fire it up and play through it as our first Long Play of 2024? From what I can tell, it's a mostly exploratory voxel RPG that takes some good inspiration from FF5. Which has MY attention.

We ended early to play Lethal Company last time, but we DID still manage to finish off the main plot of Spring Galaxy at the very least. So all that remains is cleaning up any remaining sidequests we can and then moving on to the next... and seeing if my guess is correct.

Well, it wasn't Monsoon Galaxy but there WAS a storm. So I'm counting it as a half win. Especially considering I did a mission at the very end that locked up on me. So I'm taking any win I can get as I have to go redo that fight again. Welp.

(Follow-Up: So, I think what caused it to freeze up was I removed the eyes in two areas before waiting for the game to realize one area was done and do its "cleared up" animation. So it tried to do both at once and still thought one area was left... while also identifying I had won. Weird. Fixed now, though.)

Afterward, we raided over to my buddy Jason as he does his own end-of-year marathon!
