No one has said anything about this to me, and it's not really something I put all that much thought into, but "tags" seem to be something of a hot topic for discussion or The Discourse, so...

Would anyone actually like me to use more tags, specifically making tags for my various Original Characters? If I did it, I would make the tags obnoxious in some way in an effort to make them unique, since a lot of the character names aren't really so.

If it's not something y'all are really worried about, then I might not, either. I kinda got used to the assumption that I was posting to the Void when posting on webzones that were personal pages, so "discoverability" isn't something I really think about. Also, Cohost feels more like a blog-type space than a gallery-type space like zeviantart or pixiv, so that kinda just makes tags feel like a jerry-rigged stopgap rather than a real solution.

I made/remade/reactivated(?) a Newgrounds account a while ago, one of these days I need to actually take the time to put stuff there as a possible replacement for devaintart.

in reply to @hamsternet's post:

I think it's good to have character tags even if the names aren't unique as clicking on a tag while on a user's page will show all of that user's posts with that tag! but I think it's fine to just do whatever you want because as you said, it's more of a blogging space than a gallery.

Oh and I recently made an account on newgrounds as well! I'll go find you.

Thanks for the input! The more I think about it, the more I feel like I should just go ahead and go add name tags to everything, it'll makes things easier for everyone and I should try to be at least a bit less self-depreciating.

I wouldn't worry about looking for my Newgrounds yet, haha. Whenever I get around to properly using it, I'll make a post and add it to my links, etc. I'm actually not even sure what the username is right mow without checking.
