I came, I lurk. Like the ghost that is just in the corner.

We're coming up on a year of Splatfests for Splatoon 3 and I have strictly been a Big Man and Frye voter. I waffled on Nessie versus Aliens but I was eh enough on both to wait and see what the announcement would bring and the connection of Mr. Grizz = Bigfoot in-universe was enough to sway me to Team Bigfoot. I am more of a cookies-and-cream sort of gal in my ice cream choices and could have gone vanilla to compensate...if I didn't also like Strawberry and voted for it first and didn't think about that connection until after.

Shiver is going to need something important that we share in opinions for me to vote for her.

(I be opinionated like that)

Callie versus Marie in Splatfest picks is a 17/14 spilt, counting the final fest, which I mostly picked off of what idol I picked the most. A near 55/45 percentage between the two. Most of my saltiness towards Marie is on retrospect of who won the final fest and who seems overshone by the fandom. -grumble grumble- I have a similar percentage with Pearl and Marina with 17 votes with Pearl and 22 with Marina. 44/56 percentage. No idol popularity influincing my Chaos vs Order vote though. (I want safety and stability...)

Evidently Shiver had a lot more of Big Man's personality until they actually added him into the game as a third choice. Shiver and Frye, to me, have a overlap in terms of aggressive passionate gals and the slight differences between the two make me more favor Frye, it seems. Frye has more pure-of-heart-dumb-of-ass energy while Shiver is a more calcuated figure. Including making herself appear less cringefail. Which works on the fandom well enough as most adore her coolness. -grumbles and mumbles-

Just interesting that my near percentage spilt votes now just completely ignore a third option. It's how it goes, I suppose!
