While I like the additional arguments, I always find it a little awkward to not argue in response to what the Vessel itself is saying. I do like that we get more of a sense of what a commanding, intimidating presence Shifty is, with all of that divine self-assureded.
The animations are so quick! I'm going to have to hope that someone uploads them all to Youtube to I can see them all slowed down. Also, like the added touch of the heads turning to look at you only if you are pissing off Shifty. Definitely adding to the "oh damn. Oh shit. This is going south. Ohhhh no."
Speaking of which! I only got one example of Shifty rushing towards the Long Quiet in anger with the Fury vessel, but it was enough for me to go "Oh fuck!"
If you go to the heart, the only major changes are if you go down without the Blade, as you'll get tons of additional questions. I've only seen it with "cold" Princess so far, so I'm going to have to go back in with "sweet" Princess and "The Stranger."
Speaking of which, Stranger's new monologue? Woof. If that ain't an argument against not becoming gods...which is very much contrasted in my route by also having done The Wild, the most major argument for journeying together into the unknown. (And seeing that effect again!)
