the way two sentence horror stories use words like 'as', 'while', 'but', 'however', 'only' as very obvious crutches to support the overwrought nature of these 'sentences' is extremely funny but it also makes me hyper-aware of when i occasionally do it in my own writing and im like oh no we cant have that here
