So there are plenty of folks on here who are already well aware of my worlds, most notably the Little Pocket setting, but things have changed some since I first shared a lot of info about the place, and I wanna get everyone up to speed. So! Say hi to Riley, my fat fennec fox fursona, and one of the many characters that populates the town
In a little remote chunk of the woods in the in-universe equivalent of Oregon, sits the quiet town of Little Pocket, a former mining town that was put in place to establish easy access to a local quarry, but later was established properly. Fun fact: the town was also known as "The Sleepwalkers Retreat" due to local myth surrounding folks disappearing into the mines back when the town was first getting it's footing.
Nowadays, it's rather unremarkable... bar recent magical happenings due to a certain fennec fox making some new friends, but is also the home of the up and coming punk band GIRL x GIRL x GIRL, which has gained quite the crowd. Our fennec here- Riley is the bassist and vocalist for said band, and has been known to be an absolute bundle of energy while performing on stage.
Neighboring the town (by technicality, it's still about a 2 hour drive to get there) is the coastal city of Whittleton. Most notable for it being pretty much the city denizens of Little Pocket go to get their college education, it has what you'd expect, with a whole lot less magic goings on than it's neighboring town.
Really though, the Little Pocket setting is one I made for a lot of my characters to just... exist and live in. It's very slice of life sorta stuff, with the occasional fantastical happenings if one of Riley's pals decides to stop by, ehehe. Really what makes the whole place interesting is the folks who live in it, which I will most certainly brush on next!
