What is the BIGGEST BADDEST mech in the Abyss setting? Anyone busting out Big Stupid Superweapons?
A lot of the bigger BLADEs are unmanned units designed by REDTEC like the HORNET SWARM. It kinda just get's clunkier and clunkier to control a bigger machine, especially with how involved a process it is as is.
If you're talking manned stuff though, there's a gang of Abyss Walkers who's leader pilots a modified BLADE with an open slot where the cockpit used to be to fit in a Spider Walker. It's not too much bigger than a usual BLADE, but it's got way more in the way of arms to work with, which is a good boost to the ol' silhouette!
Apart from that, a lot of the bigger weapons come in the form of modified mining vehicles and a few hover-class ships
