Violette is an arm amputee, and while initially pretty insecure about it, she's become far more lighthearted about it in recent years, which has led to her coming up with some pretty ridiculous things to say when folks ask about it. She's told folks about how it "just kinda fell off one day" or how she just "slept on it wrong" or even just act slightly surprised to see it missing.
Additionally, did you know that Riley - on very rare occasions - wears glasses? They usually wear contacts cause they prefer the way their un-spectacled face looks, but after enough of Violette bothering her to show her what they look like... well, that's the scene above, ehehe.
