Follow up question for the “Species Epiphany” ask!
What would your advice be for someone currently stumbling through their own little species journey?
Oh uhhhhhh- I'm not sure I'm exactly the therian expert or anything but hmmm- as always, trying to shove yourself in a box is a quick way to feel kinda trashy about the whole thing. Animals are often described to only perform certain behaviors or have certain temperaments, but being living creatures, we're all gonna act differently.
In the same vein, you might not perfectly fill the roll of just one animal. Some folks like being chimeras or just vibe with multiple creatures, and there's no shame in that! I occasionally feel like a hyena rather than a fox, but I've got a face to maintain, ehehe.
Apart from that, do what comes naturally! Depict yourself the way that feels right, make noises, wag your tail, get a feel for bein' whatever creecher feels right! You're a funny critter, there's really no wrong way to do it!
