It was so much better than I’d hoped, and I had real high hopes! You super right about it being waaaay more impactful UGHHHH such a big brain move making the first episode just be a movie of the first manga volume. The show will be so much better off for it

yeah im glad they got this whole bit out of the way all at once its so smart!!! it works really well as a prologue, i was def worried before they said theyd do this that the opening episodes would drag on for a long time

i had no idea this was going to happen, and was like "huh they sure are fitting a lot into this half hour episode, checked how long was left and i was 50 mins in. nice surprise. GOOD LUCK WITH THE READING DWEEB
