honestly this entire series feels like a scathing condemnation of the japanese entertainment industry and how exploitative it is, but especially so regarding teenage girls. Fuck idol culture
oh yeah, it extremely is. basically every arc (so far but also further in the manga) is incredibly angry about several specific aspects of the various entertainment industries lol
i agree its really exciting. though i think you should edit the manga spoilers out of your comment since this post is specifically about the anime and i dont want people to be caught offguard
