i just started the 7th and final season of deep space nine (for the first time) and i cannot get over how incredible this show has become. i need to rewatch tng again but i dont remember it ever coming close to this level of consistency
it is almost overwhelming how many all-time great episodes are just back to back to back. once you get to season 3 the number of dud episodes is minimal and almost all of them are only "bad" in the sense that they are mids surrounded by all time greats
