At this point (at this age?) I just assume all media to be mediocre at best and wait for the reviews / etc. before bothering.
Like any other media this could be the greatest, most impactful show ever made - or it could be utter trash, with no difference in the lead up between the two. Either way I've made it this long without it and I can go much longer

Yeah, it feels so out of left field. She was already cool, why make her a Jedi?
