i am THIS 🤏 close to longposting about star trek discovery and it will not be pretty or honorable but im pretty sure once i finish ds9 i will be so incandescent about it i wont be able to resist
im getting the horrible feeling that when i finish ds9 im going to get the urge to hatewatch discovery s1-2 to recontextualize my feelings about it but if i start to do that i need one of you to promise that you'll come to my house and shoot me with a gun

i have been informed that i have reached the "final arc" of ds9 and i am so distraught that i have found myself losing motivation to keep watching. i really dont want it to be over :(
the other part of this problem is knowing that the places for me to go after this are voyager and enterprise which are both................dire. now that ive seen the peak of star trek i have to acknowledge that if i want more star trek ill have to deal with "less".
and maybe ill write a longer post about how i feel about star trek discovery after watching ds9 but the summary of that post would just be: "angry"
