my apartment complex management gave me some candy in some sort of reverse halloween situation so i have that going for me

Poor planning has left me working on example projects for class tomorrow. Whoops.
It's my first Halloween in 8 years where I have a street-facing front-door, so we bought some candy and a bowl this weekend and haven't had anyone come by yet
We saw a dog walk by without coming to visit and it was wearing a sort of dragon-looking costume on its back. Will report back if there's more
Neighbors had friends over, which sounded like trick or treaters coming up, but there were none tonight. Earlier in the night, we saw a kid dressed as Mario, a kid in a lab coat with a big plastic volumetric cylinder (that one ruled). And there were some princesses and whatnot, but they all just walked down the hill and none stopped at any houses
Maybe I got tricked? But also now we have extra candy, so we were also treated?

it's just the "wait for windows updates" part tonight so hopefully the factory electrical seals will be enough to keep the inside electricity in and the outside electricity out 🤞🤞
