why do more people not complain about the fact that apparently a core known feature of displayport means that if you have two monitors your windows will ALWAYS be reshuffled between them after waking your computer up from sleep and this is entirely unavoidable

also this is awakening a memory in me that i think this STOPPED happening when i got a new pc, even though it was pretty superficially the same as my old PC (win10, displayport hookups)

did you change which monitor was your primary one? I'm pretty sure it mainly happens if you're a weirdo like me and "primarily" use your secondary monitor for various reasons. Such as my main taskbar is on my "secondary"

HMMMMMM maybe. I use my righthand monitor as primary, and windows assumes lefthand monitors are always primary... but I might have swapped the position of the cables when i hooked up the new pc (thus making righthand monitor 'primary' on hardware). now i'm genuinely curious lol
