Mawin was a Cerean female who was the fourth wife of Ki-Adi Mundi and the mother of Ki-Adi's daughter Sylvn. Even though the Jedi Code forbade emotional attachments, the low Cerean male birthrate granted an exception.

I remember reading this Many years ago and I distinctly remember that despite the whole premise of the arc and planet setting being that only one in every twenty children of this species is male, the comic artists were so “female is a character trait”-brained that the street scenes were still entirely generic men rather than generic women
