instead of starting with a list of things to do and having some left at the end of the day and feeling bad, I did one thing and was like "what if I did 2 things?" and I ended up doing like 11 things. if I started the day with 11 things on a list I would not get 4 of them done, but by taking advantage of the "number go up" phenomenon I was able to do shit instead of doing shit and feeling like it wasn't enough.
there were still things I didnt get to but I did much more than I expected and feel much more relaxed
