decided to graph personal site usage going by week. I have a neat browser extension (mind the time) which records how much time you spend on websites and records the results. When I was addicted to twitter I was spending like 3 hours a day on there, so using that info I set the limiter to be an hour and a half, then an hour, which I tend to run up against despite everything going on. Since the rebrand to "x" my usage has dropped pretty significantly. Bluesky showed up a few weeks ago and has added to my web time. Cohost remains pretty flat, I'm on here about an hour a day give or take. I tend to look at posts for one or two pages and then go on my way. I think the pagination really helps with keeping session time down. It'll be interesting to see if bluesky's infinite scroll design ends up siphoning off twitter usage.
