when I used to commute I would not do lane changes if I was behind someone 5 or so under the speed limit because I wanted to be a placid and predictable driver. but now I am weaving through traffic and doing rapid lane changes getting around these cars. im never doing more than 10 above the speed limit. this morning I went left and around someone to get to an exit because I was boxed next to a dump truck and didnt want to cut them off. I have never done that but my god it feels good to just decide to take action and then engage. the car handles best when its like this too. but god im really going to have to stop

oh youre talking gas mileage. well, its a 4 cylinder car, I guess if I had a v8 and drove the same it would be worse in terms of how much shell gets.
what sucks is even if everyone stopped driving cars the greenhouse emissions dont go down all that much, this happened during the pandemic. we should stop driving cars, I would love to take the bus to work but its an hour and a half each way vs 30 minutes

im with you on the dangerous. that is why im asking: if you say: "it cant be like that." do you profit that much more than them? it reads like you are feeling bad about doing it... so i would argue you suffer from it... any how i dispise the fossil fuel industry enough to make me rather drive 5kmh slower than faster. and since i realized my speedometer is off by 5kmh, i just match the displayed speed to the speed limit and presto im 5 below :3
but in the long run i need to do something about eliminating my fossil fuel use entirely. those fuckers have known about climate change from the sixties or something and have simply ignored their own scientists warning about it. they just want us to keep consuming more and more.
