Gradually trying to get a character to animate in the game, which I made in blender with a different skeleton. Learned how UE's IK Retargeting system works so I can export existing animations to target the new mesh. Except now Im stuck on getting those new animations to work in an animation blueprint. I figured I could copy an existing one and swap the skeleton out, but i'm finding the blueprint system confusing and weird. Happy with some progress. the source and destination pose have to be very close, and there's ways to adjust. I got stuck on importing meshes from blender, as the scale for things in blender:unreal is 1:10 and there seems to be no way I've found to resize skeletal meshes after importing them, which is really annoying. Right now all i've gotten it to do is an idle pose in game.
