When the whole "Moissanite is even better than Diamond!" thing got started, I was ready to jump aboard the "Diamonds are BS" train, but I was skeptical about Moissanite being that much better than Diamonds. . I knew it looked pretty, but I figured it would've been a relatively soft stone, maybe with a hardness akin to glass, but NO. Moissanite it a 9.25 on Moh's Hardness Scale. That's harder than Sapphire. Holy shit. It's literally only off from Diamond by 0.75. I know 9-10 is a rapid escalation compared to 8-9, but still: Hold fuck. This little rock just keeps getting better and better.
