Nancy Drew: The Final Scene feels like such an outlier for a lot of the earlier games. There are so few puzzles, the character’s are all unlike able, the environment is drab. Hell, there’s not even a voice line at the start of the game saying the usual line of “Hi, I’m Nancy Drew! Welcome to my latest case.,.”

Both this game’s predecessor and successor have that. And it’s even more odd because Treasure in the Royal Tower and Secret of the Scarlet Hand both feel like way higher quality game. Idk what happened with The Final Scene. It’s just so… forgettable.
