God. All this bullshit with Apple lately. It makes me want an Android so bad. I’m trying to keep my current phone as long as it’s getting software updates, so probably until 2025, with 2027 being a stretch goal for security-only updates, but it’s honestly getting hard. With all the DMA Temper Tantrum stuff Apple is doing, and all the classist snootiness iPhone owners tend to have, I’m honestly ready to switch. I feel embarrassed carrying an Apple phone around in public. Yuck.

I was today years old when I learned that if you have rental car coverage in your car insurance plan, your car is more likely to be totaled after a minor accident. Apparently, if you have rental car coverage and there's a long wait for one of the damaged parts on your car, your insurance will simply total your completely repairable car so that they don't have to pay your rental car bill for the amount of time it takes a back-ordered part to show up.
