One criticism I got for my redesign was that I had a LOT of the neon light stripes on the suit drawing focus away from the helmet and chest. While I do like them, I thought it'd be a fun experiment to rework it very lightly and just patch over the lights, as well as try an alt design for the breastplate. Alternate design is on the right hand side.

That's an understandable critique. The lights around her legs and shoulders might be a bit much. But the lights around her serratus anterior and feet are fine as they are.
I actually like the serrated-looking lights right under her breastplate in your first design a lot! One of my favorite things you added tbh
