today's prompt was to redesign an OC! locrian is an old, OLD character of mine. his original "ref sheet" was drawn in 2009. this felt like a good opportunity to bring him back.

i didn't intend to go so hard on the gold/angel vibes, but what can i say, i know what i like. he's actually a fairy. a cynical, self-centred, lazy little fairy.

props to teen hex for naming him after a musical mode. i should've made his staff an eighth note, it's close enough. maybe in the next drawing!

an oc i made for an RP group. i basically went "what's a fun object to make an object head OC out of." Crimson (aka Crims, Neb, Nebby), he/it, is a universe condensed into a human shape. the planet that makes up its head is inhabited by sentient beings. (there's a magic force field preventing them from being squashed if something comes in contact with crims's head.)

the rest of crims's body is human shaped in an attempt to blend in with humankind - not to hide or to fool them, but simply to relate to them. crims wants to know what it's like to have feelings and bonds and all that human stuff.

the one quirk i managed to figure out about crims is that his sense of fashion is derived entirely from like, artsy runway stuff. the kind of thing that's more about the human form being a canvas, rather than clothes being fashionable or functional. he saw it on a human and thought, that's what people wear every day, right? so uh, that's where he's at right now. maybe with time and coaching someone can teach him a little more about fashion.

also he likes going to the gym? his body doesn't respond to food or exercise but i think he'd like, change it over time because that's how he sees humans working.

do i have proper justification for most of these? no, not really. i didn't want to think about it too hard, and while i did some bulbapedia research, i didn't have every possible evo method on the brain (i nearly forgot trade evos until i looked at zel's again). mostly i just went by feel. frankly any of these could be wrong but it's not like anyone but me would know or care.

Project Cyreneas (working title) is a nsfw furry dating sim in development. each of the 6 dateable characters has their own storyline to discover. the game is pretty short, meant to be played multiple times. i was prototyping the story in Twine, but the goal would be to have it done in ren'py. i like. really really wanna do this. but i can't do it myself and i don't have a team. so like... if youre interested in coding and/or background art... hit me up for real. (absolutely only a free time project though, i can't afford to pay anyone let alone myself)

i have the general gist of each character's story written out, and a couple of chapters for remy prototyped. though it's been a bit now since i've touched the project so i don't fully remember what all is in there lmao. i'd love to be able to animate all the character portraits in spine! that is a thing i know how to do! it's hooking everything up that escapes me.
