something re: the kendrick-drake beef i keep thinking about is how like, it's not just all the other diss tracks, it's that every kendrick track has had a completely new producer. euphoria was a sounwave beat, 6:16 in LA had a jack antonoff coproduction credit, meet the grahams was an alchemist beat, and not like us was a dj mustard beat. seems like kendrick can call up almost anyone and be like "hey, do you fuckin hate drake?" and the answer is "fuck yes dude let me in on this." meanwhile every drake diss has been on the same kind of boi-1da beat he's always rapping on. it showcases not only kendrick's range, but the fact that people who know him seem to actually, you know, like him.
