considering shifting to be more prominently atheist, partly out of spite for the "it's cringe to be openly atheist" norms that feel like have sprung up in certain parts of online. like it's okay to be openly religious but if you self-identify as an atheist then it's Reddit Fedora Time
like atheism and the portions of my belief system that derive from it are important to me! self-identified atheists (in the US at least) tend to be pretty left on most social issues! if me openly self-labeling as such makes you think of shitty people from 2005 then that's a you problem
