it took a while for "single choice parser" to click with me what it meant but when i did i very much love it, even as something i dont particularly relate to. felt like a rat slamming against the walls of a maze when i came to spamming every verb i could think of until realizing there never was a maze. just a dead end

that is honestly a great summary of the game, yeah.

i knew that i would use the parser in a controversial and abrasive way (someone asked for hints built into the game and i flat-out said no esp since i already have one). i wanted to harness the frustration and “negative” energy of someone using a parser to show how the character’s agency isn’t there.

so i’m happy with the experiment, though i am always hungry for opinions lol.
