oh I think I could make creative use of the bounce animation actually, but I'm not going to change this artwork now that I've posted it
there's definitely something. like if you add resize:both it lets you turn the camera a little bit by resizing, so i'm sure there's a way that bounce could make it wiggle the camera a little bit. i don't know much about css perspective stuff though.
This is really cool stuff! I need to learn how to do 3D CSS stuff.
Thank you!!
I first got interested in 3D CSS transforms more than a decade ago. It's not a good way to make 3D scenes, but it's a fun thing to play around with. The most important pieces are: transform (translation, rotation etc can go into the third dimension), transform-style: preserve-3d; and the perspective property. You can even hide backfaces with backface-visibility: hidden;, as if you're doing serious 3D graphics…
the heck! that's cool af
unasked for improvement ideas: make canvas bigger (leave at 128px but transform scale?) - image-rendering:pixelated - add a bouncing eggbug mob
Oh yes, I should have done pixelation and upscaling but I forgot! a bouncing eggbug is a good idea…
