Anyway as you may have noticed in that last screenshot, I renovated my back yard!! In a desire for quick honey, Boo added approximately 20 beehives to the area, and I decided to try to make some nice paths around them to make them easier to harvest. And, of course, to make some pretty flowerbeds for my new bees..... it never really looked "finished" back here, so I'm super happy it came out well! More screenshots and some planning under the cut:

PLANNING!!
I put orange wool on the top of every tree with a beehive/bee nest so they’d show up on the map, then did my best to copy it over to my little planning notebook. The plan isn’t exactly how it ended up, but it gave me a good place to start!
Before and after!
Does this count as a “build”? Despite not being an actual building, it took me over a week!! I’m sure I’ll continue to fuss with it, but happy to call it done for now. :>

I've wanted to avoid spamming your Minecraft posts but all of them have been mouth-wateringly gorgeous. If you didn't keep making a note that you're new I'd assume you were a Minecraft lifer with a degree in gorgeous decorating! Absolutely phenomenal stuff, I hope you have fun and keep posting because I want to look at it. 👀

(Editorial: as I understand it, "a build" is the vocabulary specifically because it does not mandate that the result be an indoors-y building. Making some huge elaborate thing that is all outdoors counts! Or I think it should, consult your local Minecraft lifer for more info. :3)

OH MY GOSH!! i have been smiling about this comment all day, haha, thank you so much! I'm delighted you're enjoying my nonsense because I am having a GREAT time.
The "build" thoughts make sense; like I know a Giant Statue of Godzilla is also a Build even tho it's not a building, but I suppose because this was "a lot of paths" I second-guessed it! Though several of the tutorial/tips videos I've been watching about path design have focused on ways of making paths feel like a destination in and of themselves, so it makes sense that it's still a Building Project.

(also omg omg PLS FEEL FREE TO SPAM if u so desire, i will devour all comments and eggbug emojis for BUILDING POWER 💪)
