I was built in your image, wasn't I?
Mirabile Visu, the player character I featured in my last post. This is a tarot card I made of him some time ago, based on The Moon. The world the story takes place in has three moons, so I got to multiply the card theme a bit.
There's a lot of stuff to explain here, but tldr; The religion Mirabile grew up being taught preaches pacifism, even at the cost of one's life, where self-defence is viewed in just as negative a light as aggression. Mirabile, however, ends up using his abilities to defend himself (he has the power to control fire, hence the smoke), and the attacker does not survive. Long story short, a multi-year religious crisis ensues.
