I think we can all agree that when a recipe blog (You know, the type that add hundreds of needless paragraphs to make you scroll through ad

s) includes nutritional information, they are at best doing incredibly dodgy math or at worst straight up lying.

i think "dodgy but legal math" is usually the answer (they tend to use an FDA database with more-or-less reasonable nutritional information for basic ingredients, which is used for a lot of real nutritional facts on products on store shelves too)
